memories

hello!!! this is my very first time posting! hahaha anyway, today's the official last day of school so i thought i'd bring you guys back to what we all did together through this year (: ... remember, i sent out an email asking you all to tell me which was your most memorable experience in oac? well, i had a wonderful time reading all your replies and wanted to share it. hee hope you don't mind! =)

memorable experiences!
lizhen : bwm!pushups>
jillian: kite flyingbecause the whole activity was really fun and we get to bond!! :Dthe steamboat dinner was also memorabledawn: Night cycling! It was fun cycling at late night along the road, with the wind blowing on our faces and trying to keep awake! AHHH so fun! =D
meiyan: Hiezzz, Mmm... Malaysia overseas trip... got to cycle to the beach, eat seafood dinner, bond through playing and cycling =P Most importantly, it was fun and accomplishing... =)
waikit: i love the night hike. cause that was one of the very first time i got to engage with seniors. hahas.
cuilin: hmm...i'll have to think about it.. haha.due to my frequent absence from school, there were not too many OAC activities which i attended...which is quite unfortunate for me... BUT,i think that the most memorable activity would be the overseas cycling trip, although not everyone attended that... It was a first-time experience for me,cycling in those parts with those steep slopes which were really a test of ur physical condition! Moreover, the flooding of the hotel was totally memorable heh heh.though not memorable in a nice sense, but still unforgettable yea.haha. hmm i guess that's it ba.. the next most memorable would be the kite-flying trip, and the steamboat after that!haha. wells, i was not in a very gd mood that day, and the trip really made me happier =) n the steamboat worked magic!it really felt gd to be surrounded by friends...the whole thing jus brightened my day and i didn't regret joining u guys for the steamboat dinner =)
suyi: umm. most memorable? i think NDC tower building! not being biased or anything, but building a structure is really fulfilling, especially when u get to climb to the top and look down below!(:got to know a few ppl better too while tying!
benedict: haha ok. For me it was the solo night of BWM camp. cos i think it really put our skills to the test and was not a bad simulation of what it would be like if we were really lost alone in some strange place. maybe it could be extended to sth like survival? where we only meet for activities? thanks
shuning: hmm... most memorable experience? i think for me it isnight hike... never thought that i could walk for solong and so far!!! plus it was a good time bondingwith the other oacians. :) and it is afterall thefirst major event this year for oac. :)))
claire: my most memorable experience in oac was the the oac orientation camp at the start of the year. coz it made me realise how fun oac could be and i made many new and great friends.! The activities were way too cool...
kevin: The night walk during the backwoods camp was memorable. This was because seniors tried to scare us, only with me spoiling the atmosphere by telling lame jokes. Mwahahah
ben gan: My most memorable OAC experience would definitely have to be the intra school night hike in April. (i think it was april...) This is because it was one incident when i felt the camaraderie and excellent group dynamics that we the members of OAC have. We walked through the reservoir rainforest for a few hours and then went on an urban hike down to Bukit Panjang. Though many of us were extremely tired after that night, playing the various games at different stations and passing under the silence of the lush jungle which was stirred only by the insects and our laughter made it one of the most memorable experience i had from OAC.
charmaine: the camaderie. no particular experience
mervyn: the most memorable OAC experience for me this year was the BWM camp. That's because it was fun and one of the few times everyone really got together and go through thick and thin. That's why it was the first to come up in my mind when i read your email.
me!: let the pictures speak for themselves! =)
weekly oac dinners! haha more ppl must join kay!

wednesday activities!

and working together!

man... it's been one year already! next year will pass as fast i guess... well! let's make the most of it and make it even more memorable and wonderful!
