HI EVERYONE! :)
Check this out! :D
Basically there'll be a gathering for the OACians from the past & present batches! :D It'll be really cool seeing all the "dinosaurs" (they call themselves that). The stuff below is written by one of the "dinosaurs", but the injections in italics are by me :D
Please inform me by Saturday night if you'll be there! I need to reply to the dinosaur :) Many thanks :)

Date: 3 August 2008, Sunday
Time: 12pm - 5pm
Venue: 25A Hillview Avenue, Glendale Park Function Room
Cost: S$10 per person
Purpose: For past and present batches of NJ OACians to interact and get to know each other
- Do note that this will be lunch! Not dinner.
- For the convenience of everyone, it is decided to order catered food which explains the cost involved.
- This will be a gathering which aims to bring together past & present batches of OACians to promote interaction, & the bringing of "significant others" is strongly encouraged (baby dinos included).
(HAHAHA OAC '07-'08, you guys can bring your "significant others" too! LOL. Don't scare us with any baby dinos tho.)
- It will be a good time for the super seniors to learn about present developments of the club, & for the newly-elected exco to learn from the seniors. I am quite certain a lot of skills have been lost along the way.

Elections!
yeps! so here's our new EXCO!!!!!

from left: secretary, QM, CC, treasurer, 1st aider, pres
bottom: vice-pres
anyway, so we, being a CCA that sticks to tradition as best as possible... hmm, nvm, ok so here's something...like what happened
terence: hey kahhan you know, you being the vice-pres and the only guy... hmm how do i say this... argh.. umm never mind, ok you close your eyes
kahhan: hmm okayyy... [closes eyes]
terence: you empty your pockets first... (kahhan opens eyes and holds his wallet, i go up and hold it) hmm i think you gotta take off your glasses too..
jessie(, or was it her?... someone) aiya no need la...
me: hmm hmm better take off! (so kahhan hands over his glasses too)
all 4 guy senior excos crowd round him.
kahhan (closed eyes): hmm i feel like i'm doing a trustfall
all the while, kahhan guaiguai and trustingly listens to his vice-pres...
terence: ya ya! it's a trustfall ok so now you fall.
so kahhan tries to fall (alvyn's behind) but... hmm not such a successful attempt... he staggers back.
terence: okok, you fall again.
so he falls and all 4 senior guy excos grab his legs back and arms and!!!!
yup!
happenings..
hellohello! nothing much has been happening since stong so here's an update! hmm there was ISAC, pretty nice =) hmm what happened...
ooh the sembawang registration people, we miraculously appeared at the hot springs faster than all the participants! and! most fun of all, we got to see all the participants chionging and running along the road wah... super funny mans. yeps then participants had to cook an egg/a leg at the hot springs before heading off to 2 different places. bedok, from what i heard, they liked the goggles! haha yup and some participants enjoyed their swimming part. then kayaking, haha they had to walk a 30 min stretch of a strange road along an ulu part of singapore. the station masters seemed to have fun though, they were playing their PSP! then there was the actual kayaking... thanks to char and ben hong for staying out in the water the whole morning/afternoon! then the cycling people who very kindly donated the leftover newater to some place nearby... =) then.. there were the two people stationed along the cycling route, so sorry you both had such a dull job that you stared at one same bird the whole day! vertical marathon, ah~ sorry too that the stairs were so boring and sian-ifying.. then botanic gardens where we had a pseudo picnic. to the abseiling ppl, you guys did a wonderful job of getting everything ready despite the shortage of manpower!
anyway, thank you to all the oacians who helped out spontaneously, cos there were circumstances that were not mentioned in the proposal or your designated tasks yet you went all out to do it! like the kayaking people who went to cycle the remaining leftover bikes. and thank you once again for the times you chionged to your next station because the estimated time the participants arrived ended too late (especially to those who were supposed to help out at school as your last station), thank you!
